Gaelic Ring: Barra Tour -
7 Nights for
two persons. DAY 2; Your ferry awaits from Oban you sail to Barra, a lovely sailing and superb scenery await you today. Overnight Barra.
DAY 3;Drive north to Benbecula, then complete your day with a scenic route to North Uist, where your accommodation lies. DAY 4; North Uist, a whole day to explore this wonderfully unspoilt island. Overnight as previous night on North Uist. DAY 5; Over the sea to Skye, take the ferry to Uig on Skye, spending the remainder of the day exploring this isle, with an overnight stay at Portree. DAY 6; Skye and castles, from Portree take a route to Dunvegan, where the castle is an excellent visit. Then travel across the island to Broadford and the road bridge, following this road to Eilean Donan Castle for another excellent stop. Stay overnight locally here. DAY 7; The final ferry, return over the Skye bridge and take the road south to Armadale, where there is yet another castle for you! Then the final ferry back to the mainland to Mallaig. From here to Fort William and onwards to Oban, where you have a final night. DAY 8; Glasgow, at your leisure, drive south via a stunning route to Glasgow and return the rental car. Your tour ends here. We can arrange an overnight stay here if you wish. |
Gaelic Ring: Barra
Introduction This tour includes; Self drive car rental, all ferry tickets for two passengers with medium sized car. En Suite private Accommodation each night as described. Fully bound colour tour notes, maps and brochures. FOR TWO PERSONS (sharing a twin or double room) £ to follow soon.
